Super brief update

For those of you who were *genuinely* worried…yes, I’m still alive and kicking. Praise the Lord! However, alive and kicking does not necessarily mean smooth-going and stress-free; quite the contrary. I’m sure you’re all dying to know the latest goings-on in the Crazy Adventures of Sarah. Here are some highlights from this week:
-first day of editing and layout class a kitty (who I like to refer to as Mr. Cow…and not because of his weight) walked into our room and made a bee line through the middle of our class and started meowing at our prof. So cute! Our prof simply said, “It figures you’d come straight to me. You must know that I don’t like cats.” Then he picked him up with two hands, holding him arms length out in front of him like a dirty diaper and tossed him outside…it was hilarious. I was hoping Mr. Cow would have come to visit again, but he hasn’t.
-I’m excited about my theology class. It’s basically a course dedicated to some of my favorite authors. Sweet.
-Today was insane, but good. Got up early, had a nice relaxing breakfast and quiet time; went to class, went to work, went to class again, then went to Falcon meeting. Good thing I had a hearty breakfast this morning because I didn’t have a moment to eat the rest of the day. I think I’ll have to start planning better for Thursdays.
-just got back from the first Falcon meeting of the quarter…forcast says “brace yourself…it’s going to be a bumpy ride.” There’s a lot of work to be done.
-I’m working on an obit right now…sooo hard. Pray for me…and more importantly, please pray for the family and friends of the person I’m writing about.

There’s so much more to share but I have so much reading to finish for tomorrow. Blah. I’ll have to save the rest for later.

Friends at home….I miss you!!!
