So far it’s been a good day. I woke up this morning and went to pick up my parents from the airport. Surprisingly, Oakland airport wasn’t too busy today and traffic flowed smoothly. My parents brought back for me a professional looking laptop bag from the Chicago Tribune. It’s really nice.
Yesterday my brother and I were on a mission to find the purrrfect little furry bundle of joy to join the family. Today the kitten hunt came to a close. Our winnings were a little 3-month-old carmel-colored tabby girl (currently named Apache, but my bro plans on changing that soon) and a 3 and a half month old Siamese boy. Both are very affectionate and full of spunk. My brother’s wife Heather has never owned any animals before…this should be fun to watch. ha-ha.
In other news, my best friend just called me not too long ago to inform me that her and this really cool guy she’s been hanging out with are official! This is very exciting because he’s cool and she’s cool….and now they can be cool together. Perhaps even combining their coolness to become the coolest couple I know. 🙂 That’s just really…neat.
