Brad took me to the Cheesecake Factory last night. Yummy stuff! I had salmon and he had chicken. He got all dressed up too and he look really really nice. He told me his parents really wanted to come with us last night and that he barely got out of the house without them. haha! Then we brought home some cheesecake to eat while we watched ‘How to loose a guy in 10 days’. (I love that movie!) We were laughing up a storm the whole time. Before we started the movie he talked with my dad forever (like always) and they plotted a double date (him and myself and my parents). They want to take my mom and I to sushie (yuck). He also invited me to come with him to get his motorcycle helmet today! But I don’t think I can go because I have to be here when the raccoon lady comes to pick up the baby raccoon we caught in our backyard (a.k.a. Spaz). Anyhow, it was fun and he gave me a quick kiss when he said goodbye! yikes!
In other boy news…Josh has called a number of times from Texas. And continues to email me. He’s going through some rough times with flight/pilot stuff. I think he’s seriously lonely over there. It’s a completely different environment than he’s used to…there are practically no Christians on base and the church he’s going to is really small and made up of mostly old people. Bummer…I’m praying for him.
Also, I did run into Jared at church. He greeted me with a big hug (he smelled super good! uh-oh!) It was his dad’s birthday so he couldn’t hang out after the service. I told him to give me a call when he had time. (I still haven’t heard from him, oh well).
Finally, Loreanne, Quinn called me back and I found out that he can’t go camping. He REALLY wanted to though…he told me that he had just bought a new tent and some other camping stuff two days ago! He said that if we have time later in August that he wants to take us to go camping with him. We should definitely go! But he said he’s super bummed about not being able to take work off.
