My roommate got engaged this morning!
She called me on my cell phone just moments ago to let me know.
He woke her up at 4:30 this morning and took her to his ranch to watch the sunrise. They were sitting on the hillside when he stood her up (literally picked her up and put her on her feet) and said to her “I’m tired of waking up alone, will you wake up with me?” Then he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring and proposed!
She sounded so happy on the phone. She told me that she definitely wants me to be a part of her wedding and I said that I look forward to it. “Just tell me what you want me to wear and what I need to do!” Then Adam (her fiance) took the phone and told me what she said after he proposed, “She said ‘I can’t see it!” She was talking about the ring. When he pulled it out it was too dark and she couldn’t see it. “After I proposed all she had to say besides yes was that she couldn’t see it!”
Ha-ha. Very cute. I’m so excited for her. It’s going to be a beautiful wedding. 🙂
